The Arkansas State Board of Education requires proficiency ratings in Speaking and Writing for prospective Mandarin Chinese teachers.

For information about ACTFL proficiency assessments, the application process and testing procedures, please read the ARKANSAS MANDARIN CHINESE TEACHER - ACTFL Proficiency Assessments Brochure, available through the links below. After reading through the brochure, you may download the appropriate applications and forms to mail or fax to us, and/or apply directly on line.
