The Pennsylvania State Department of Education Division of Certification and Preparation has instructed you to take ACTFL proficiency tests as a part of your application for teacher licensure. For the most current information on test requirements for the specific teaching license you are seeking, please visit their website at https://www.tcs.ed.state.pa.us/praxis/index.asp or contact Barbara Seifert. For information about ACTFL proficiency assessments, the application process and testing procedures, please read the ACTFL Proficiency Assessment Brochure, available through the links below. After reading through the brochure, you may download the appropriate applications and forms to mail to us, and/or apply directly online.
