Apply for an ACTFL Proficiency Assessment

Dear Prospective Maryland Foreign Language Teacher:

The Maryland State Department of Education has instructed you to take ACTFL® proficiency tests as a part of your application for Foreign Language teacher credential. For information about ACTFL proficiency assessments, the application process and testing procedures, please read the ACTFL Proficiency Assessments Brochure for Prospective Maryland Foreign Language Teachers, available through the links on the following pages. After reading through the brochure, you may download the appropriate applications and forms to mail or fax to us, and/or apply directly on line.
