Accented Characters and Symbols in the WPT for the Seal of Biliteracy Test

When assessing Writing Proficiency in the WPT for the Seal of Biliteracy test, all Romanized alphabet languages (Albanian, Bosnian, Croatian, Haitian Creole, Polish, Tagalog, Turkish and Yoruba), can use the on-screen special character palette to insert accented characters and symbols. Alternatively, users of Windows-based computers can use the Alt codes displayed in the charts below. For Amharic, Bangla, Bulgarian, Cantonese, Dari, Guajarati, Hebrew, Malayalam, Pashto, Swahili, Tamil, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Vietnamese, a language-specific keyboard must be set up ahead of time.
