Test Accommodations

LTI is committed to providing access for all candidates to ACTFL assessments by providing reasonable accommodations appropriate to each candidate’s conditions and needs. LTI has established protocols regarding accommodation arrangements. Test accommodations are individualized and handled on a case-by-case basis. An individual who meets the diagnostic criteria for a particular disorder is not automatically entitled to test accommodations and must go through the review process for verification.

It is suggested that accommodation requests be submitted as early as possible. The review of documentation takes approximately ten business days once the request and supporting paperwork have been received. If additional documentation is needed, additional time may be required before the review can be finalized.

Accommodations can be requested in multiple ways, depending on the test.
